USA: "Build it for fun and people will use it"- Twitter co-founder
If you build a social media application for fun, it is more likely people will use it, Twitter co-founder Biz Stone explained in a keynote speech at the South by Southwest convention in Austin, Saturday.
The speech, attended by around a thousand people, was about creativity and redefining success. Stone said that even famous applications like snapshat and facebook were made for fun. Even a platform made to topple a despotic regime "has to support fart jokes", thus Stone.
Biz Stone, now CEO of Jely and Super, was in 2009 named one of the most influential people in the world by Time magazine. He has an estimated fortune of 200 million dollars (€190 million).
