A reported 48 bodies were recovered after dozens drowned when a passenger ferry capsized and sank in Bangladesh on Sunday, after colliding with a trawler on the river Padma.
Rescue teams and locals managed to save around 50 passengers and are still searching for any survivors according to regional police. No formal passenger list exists, authorities estimate that around 140 people were on board at the time of the tragedy.
