USA: See THOUSANDS rally for Mike Brown
Thousands of people marched in downtown St. Louis Saturday, calling for justice over the police shooting of unarmed teenager Mike Brown and for the arrest of Brown's shooter, the white police officer Darren Wilson. The protest comes as a part of the Weekend of Resistance, and marked two months since Brown, an unarmed 18-year-old African-American, was fatally shot.
Protesters also called for the demilitarisation of police. Brown was killed August 9 in the nearby suburb of Ferguson.
The rally also comes three days after another black 18-year-old, Vonderrit Myers, was shot dead by an off-duty police officer in St. Louis.
