
Russia: Residents in shock after shell attack on border town
The residents of the Russian border town of Donetsk spoke about an artillery attack that killed a man and injured several others on Sunday.
The dead man has been named as Andrei Shulatiev, a 46-year-old factory worker and father of four.
The Russian Foreign Ministry posted a statement describing the event as an aggressive act, saying that the Ukrainian army fired the shell which detonated close to the border, in the Rostov region. Andriy Lysenko, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Defence Ministry, told reporters that the country had not fired into Russia.
