Spain: PETA activists get naked to protest famous bull festival
One hundred PETA activists took part in a protest in Pamplona on Saturday against the San Fermin Festival, a famous festival in the city in which dozens of bulls are let loose to roam the streets of the city while people chase and evade them.
Activists held signs reading “You run, bulls die” and had their faces painted bearing similarities to the Grim Reaper. Female activists also stood naked, with placards covering their breasts.
The protest was organized by PETA and Spanish organization AnimaNaturalis. San Fermin takes place on Sunday.
