
Russia: Azerbaijani President Aliyev arrives in Moscow for Eurasian Economic Council meeting
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev arrived in Moscow on Thursday to participate as a guest in the meeting of the Eurasian Economic Council, and in a trilateral meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian President Nikol Pashinyan.
Footage shows the plane with the Azerbaijani delegation taxiing before the head of the republic walked down the gangway, where he was greeted by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin and other officials.
The meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council takes place in Moscow on May 25 under the leadership of the Russian president.
The leaders are expected to discuss the implementation of Eurasian economic integration up until 2025, and the main direction of the Eurasian Economic Union’s international activities for 2023, among other key topics.
