Moscow is set to host the deputy foreign ministers of Turkey, Syria and Iran next week after Turkey said it had greenlit the participation of Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian in Syria talks.

"We said, 'There is no problem with Iran's participation'. The goal is clear, so whichever country wants to participate and contribute, we will say yes," said Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu who was speaking alongside his Iranian counterpart in Ankara on Wednesday.

The Turkish top diplomat also thanked Amir Abdollahian for Tehran's aiding in quake relief and detailed aid paths into the quake-affected parts of Syria.

In addition to the Cilvegozu border crossing, Cavusoglu said, the airspace was open "to all planes that want to bring humanitarian aid to Syria".
