    Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni arrived in Algiers on Sunday for a two-day visit focused on fortifying energy partnerships with Alegria.

    The Prime Minister arrived in Algiers on Sunday morning and was received by Algerian Prime Minister Aimene Benabderrahmane.

    One of the main topics of the discussion was the solidification of the partnership between the two countries in terms of energy, as Algeria has replaced Russia as Italy’s main supplier.

    Apart from meeting the Prime Minister on Sunday, Meloni will also meet Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune on Monday and has also planned a visit to an Italian naval ship at the port of Algiers.
