Sara Blanco, a 91-year-old grandma from Spain's Malaga, has become an Instagram sensation with over 150,000 followers on the social network.
Sara rises awareness about the illness she has been suffering from for over 30 years, Parkinson's. She does so while combining it with two of her passions: fashion and cooking.
"At the beginning, it surprised me, but on the other hand, it excites me. Because I did this (her Instagram profile) to have fun myself, overall to have fun myself, but to see that people get excited, they like and admire me, I'm delighted", the influencer said in footage recorded on Monday. "Like that, they also keep me alive, it is a way to be present and it keeps me alive", she added.
"Since I was a child, as far as I can remember, I have always stood out that way. I have always liked fashion and dressing really, really well, and because of that I continue doing the same", Sara concluded.
