Hundreds took to the streets in Leipzig on Saturday to take part in an anti-US rally and against arms deliveries to Ukraine as well as called up for German sovereignty and negotiations with Russia.

Footage features protestors marching, chanting, waving flags, as well as holding placards and banners reading 'Ami go home' and 'They want us to freeze'. Policemen could be seen at the protest seen observing demonstrators.

The slogan 'Ami go home' refers to an East Germany anti-US Cold War campaign, objecting to the presence of American troops.

Although right-wing demonstrators demanded negotiations with Russia over Ukraine and against arms deliveries, left-wing Antifa (anti-fascist) supporters reportedly called for a counter-demonstration against hate and division.
