Two explosions at different bus stops near the entrance to Jerusalem reportedly left one person dead and at least 22 more injured on Wednesday.

Footage shows bomb squad officers searching the debris, as well as glass shards and damaged vehicles, including a bus.

According to local media, police suspect the devices were packed with nails and detonated remotely.

Israel Police Commissioner Kobi Shabtai claimed there was no doubt that 'these are complex attacks'.

"We're currently focused on scanning all the scenes and call on the public to contact the emergency forces in case there's anything out of the ordinary," he added.

No organisation has yet claimed responsibility for the double attack.
