Uzbekistan: Russian and Uzbek football players train ahead of match in Tashkent

The Russian and Uzbek national teams held a training session at Pakhtakor and Jar stadiums in Tashkent ahead of a friendly football match, on Saturday.

The footage shows the teams arriving at the stadium in buses and warming up on the field.

After the training, there was also a press conference with Uzbekistan national team player Sherzod Nasrullaev and his coach Srechko Katanes. From the Russian side, the briefing was attended by player Ruslan Litvinov and team coach Valery Karpin.

The friendly match between the two national teams will take place at the stadium Pakhtakor in Tashkent at 15:00 (12:00 GMT), on Sunday.

Earlier on Thursday, the Russian national football team played a 0:0 draw against Tajikistan at the Central Republican Stadium in Dushanbe.

For the Russian national team, it was the first game approved by FIFA and UEFA this year. Points for the result of the match will go into the FIFA ranking.
