Greek foreign minister Nikos Dendias arrived in Benghazi on Thursday, shortly after refusing to disembark in the capital Tripoli.

Footage showed Dendias meeting the director of Benghazi's port Yazid Bouzriedah.

Initially, Dendias was set to meet the chairman of the Libyan Presidential Council Mohamed Menfi in Tripoli. The meeting had not been scheduled originally but was reportedly requested by Menfi and agreed upon by the Greek FM under the condition that the two of them meet without other people present. However, reports suggest that the foreign minister of the Tripoli government was also present upon Dendias' arrival, after which the minister decided to depart without disembarking in Tripoli.
