Indonesian President Joko Widodo hosted the G20 participants to a grand dinner at the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Park in Bali on the first evening of the G20 two-day summit.

US President Joe Biden unexpectedly skipped the grand dinner, retiring to his hotel with little explanation, while Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov was present at the event.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez, Chinese President Xi Jinping, the UK's Rishi Sunak and Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad bin Salman are seen in attendance.

The Group of Twenty (G20) summit is being held in Bali, Indonesia on November 15-16. Leaders and representatives from 19 countries - Russia, China, the United Kingdom, the United States, Mexico, Argentina, India, Germany, France, Indonesia, Australia, Turkey, Brazil, South Korea, South Africa, Italy, Canada, Japan and Saudi Arabia - as well as those from the European Union and invited guests like Spain, are visiting the island.
