Indonesia: Five leaders pose for group shot after G20 summit's 'family photo' reportedly cancelled
South Korean President Yoon Suk-Yeol, Indonesian President Joko Widodo, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and International Olympic Committee President Thomas Bach posed for a group photo following an informal dinner of the world leaders and heads of international organisations on the sidelines of G20 summit in Bali.
Footage filmed in Nusa Dua on Tuesday features leaders posing outdoors in shirt sleeves and talking afterwards before leaving the scene.
The traditional G20 summit 'family photo' where leaders stand together at the opening of the conference was reportedly cancelled over 'discomfort at Russia’s presence', according to some media outlets, despite the fact that Russian President Vladimir Putin is not attending the event. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov heads the country's delegation.
The Group of Twenty (G20) summit is being held in Bali, Indonesia on November 15-16. Leaders from Russia, China, the United Kingdom, the United States, Mexico, Argentina, India, Germany, France, Indonesia, Australia, Turkey, Brazil, South Korea, South Africa, Italy, Canada, Japan, Saudi Arabia and the European Union are visiting the island.
