
A little scary! Hundreds of children join Harajuku Omotesando Hello Halloween Pumpkin Parade
Hundreds of youngsters donned their scariest costumes for the 38th annual Harajuku Omotesando Hello Halloween Pumpkin Parade in Tokyo on Sunday.
Footage shows children and adults alike dressed as traditional pumpkins, witches, clowns and skeletons, as well as a smattering of action heroes, cartoon characters and even a dinosaur.
The parade stretched the entire length of the Omotesando avenue, lined with zelkova trees.
It was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year’s event was held at two-thirds capacity.
