
Syria: Bashar al-Assad inaugurates photovoltaic energy project in Adra to address energy crisis
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad launched the first phase of operating the photovoltaic power project in Adra Industrial City on Thursday during his visit to the project site in the countryside of Damascus. The project aims to address Syria's energy crisis.
The project, located in the industrial city of Adra, is expected to generate 100 megawatts of electricity through solar panels when completed. More than 18,000 photovoltaic panels have been installed so far.
