Chengdu authorities extended COVID-19 restrictions, conducting a series of mass tests for its residents as seen on Tuesday.
Since September 1, 13 days of continuous testing have been carried out.
According to a report by the Chengdu Municipal Health Commission, 18 new local confirmed cases and 26 new local asymptomatic infections were reported in Chengdu the day before.
