Hundreds of tourists climbed up to the top of the Fagradalsfjall volcano to see the latest eruption, as footage filmed on Wednesday shows.

People are seen making the hike to the site, as lava flows from the volcano.

It's just eight months since the last eruption of the volcano, located about 40 km (25 miles) away from Reykjavik. Before that, it had been dormant for around 6,000 years.
