The House of Representatives in Tobruk was left burned and severely damaged on Saturday after fires broke out during a protest on Friday night.
Offices were destroyed while surrounding buildings and cars were burned. Firefighters were seen putting out some small remaining fires.

In a recent address to the Security Council, UN political affairs chief Rosemary DiCarlo called for the Libyan leaders to resolve outstanding issues to facilitate 'a return to the electoral process.'
