    Russian ambassador to Poland Sergey Andreyev was doused in red paint on Monday at a wreath-laying ceremony in Warsaw, while he was paying tribute to the Red Army soldiers who died fighting Nazi Germany during World War II.

    Footage shows Andreyev covered in red paint and surrounded by a group of protesters with Ukrainian flags.

    Victory Day celebrations are held in Russia and elsewhere every year at 9th of May to commemorate the Soviet Union's victory against Nazi Germany at World War II.
