Second-night rehearsal of the Victory Day Parade to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the Soviet Union’s victory over Nazi Germany in the Great Patriotic War was held in Moscow on Wednesday. On May 9, military personnel will participate in the military parade on Moscow’s Red Square.

The mechanised column included the Iskander and Meta-S rocket artillery systems, the Tornado-G MLRS, the Tor-M2 missile system, Buk-MZ and S-400 Triumf surface-to-air missile system, and other weapon systems. As reported, 33 parade groups with a total of over 10,000 military personnel and cadets assembled on the Red Square for the rehearsal.

A total of 11,000 soldiers, 131 units of modern weapons and equipment, and 77 aircraft were involved in the preparation of the Moscow Victory Day parade.

A dress rehearsal of the parade will be held on May 7.
