
Papua New Guinea: PM receives AstraZeneca vaccine in Port Moresby
Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea James Marape received his first jab of the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine in Port Moresby on Tuesday.
Along with Marape, senior state officials and health workers also received their first doses of the vaccine, which the Australian government supplied in a vaccination centre installed in the Port Morseby football stadium.
At least 8,000 AstraZeneca vaccines were provided to Papua New Guinea, which will be administered to health workers this week.
