Born in Jieyang, Guangdong Province in 1994, Chen has been practising freeline skating since 2009. She began to post regular videos showcasing her amazing freeline skating tricks online, and has quickly amassed over 870,000 followers on Douyin, the Chinese version of Tiktok.
These days Chen takes her skates with her wherever she goes. "Every time I travel to a new city, I bring my freeline skates. It's a way of transportation. And I can film some skating videos while sightseeing," she said.
