Lebanon: Protests against COVID lockdown continue in Tripoli for third night
Protesters took to the streets of Lebanon's second-largest city of Tripoli on Wednesday for the third consecutive night of rallies against the COVID-19 lockdown.
Discontent with the government has been growing in Lebanon over its response to the pandemic which added pressure on the already struggling economy.
Earlier in January, the Lebanese authorities imposed social restrictions including a night time curfew.
