      UK: Bomb squad on scene after 'suspicious pkg' forces evacuation of Wrexham COVID vaccine plant

      A bomb squad, as well as police, were seen present near a vial plant in Wrexham, Wednesday. The plant, operated by Wockhardt UK, produces vials for the AstraZeneca vaccine.

      According to reports, part of the building was evacuated due to a suspicious package found in the area.

      Parts of the package were reported to have been taken for an investigation with the temporary halt not hindering the work of the plant.
