Protesters gathered to voice their disagreement with the US decision to blacklist Ansarullah as a terrorist group, in Yemen's capital Sana'a on Monday.

Ansarullah was designated a terrorist group on January 11 by the former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. The decision is reportedly now under review by administration of new US President Joe Biden.

The United Nations have warned the blacklisting risks complicating efforts to mitigate the crisis in Yemen, which the UN calls the largest humanitarian crisis in the world.
