Eau de crypto! Croatian perfumer mines limited edition Bitcoin fragrance
Dejan Levacic is the owner of a small manufacturing facility where he was seen with his Bitcoin-inspired perfumes - payable with the famous cryptocurrency - in the town of Cakovec on Friday.
The owner is producing only a limited amount, 2,100 units to be exact, and intends to sell them to foreign business people. "Bitcoin perfume evokes the future, freedom, unrestrainedness, calmness, determination and untouchability," said the owner Dejan Levacic.
Levacic is also proud of a world record achievement where he surpassed the previous holder, purportedly a wealthy sheikh from the United Arab Emirates. "I managed to beat the Sheikh by 116 litres and make the biggest perfume in the world with a volume of 616 litres. I hope that with this I have really written the Republic of Croatia on the map of the world, which no one will ever be able to surpass," said Levacic.
His love of mining - which is also the term used for the creation of Bitcoin - helped inspire his creation as well. "The most important thing is that I hide my creations in mining shafts, seas, lakes, extensions, rivers and sometimes even in the mountains. This is what makes me unique in the world, in the world of artisanal perfumes. Being a geotechnical engineer by profession, my love for mining has never stopped, so I use mines near me."
