Footage from Friday shows the aftermath of a deadly fire at vaccine-maker Serum Institute's Pune facility which left five people dead on Thursday.
The fire is believed to have started because of an electrical fault. The blaze was located close to the COVID-19 vaccine production unit but is unlikely to have consequences on the production of the vaccine.
The Serum Institute of India, the world's largest vaccine maker, is spread over 100 acres in Pune. Serum Institute of India Pvt Ltd is the world's largest vaccine manufacturer by the number of doses produced and sold globally (more than 1.5 billion doses).
