Seattle Santa safely spreads Xmas cheer from inside life-size snow globe
Seattle's own Santa Claus decided not to let a pandemic spoil his plans of spreading holiday cheer, greeting adults and kids alike from inside a life-size snow globe.
'Seattle Santa' Dan Kemmis was seen interacting with a bevvy of youngsters from the globe's safe distance, never shying away from letting out a rambunctious "ho, ho, ho."
"Santa decided, he came up with the idea to go into a snow globe, a pandemic-safe snow globe. He found a clear tent online and then all of a sudden it just blew up. And we can't believe it," said Santa's helper and partner Elise Childs.
In past years, Kemmis and Childs have organised an annual Christmas Eve walk in downtown Seattle to give presents to homeless people. This year the peppy pair will send a part of donations gathered from the Santa display to a few chosen families for housing assistance, with the rest secured for a food bank.
In the beaming words of Mrs. Claus, "one thing Santa always says is if you want to feel better, do something good."
