
USA: Bond fire rages on in Orange County as thousands evacuated
The raging Bond Fire engulfed Santiago Canyon Road from Jackson Ranch to the 241 toll road in California's Orange County on Thursday, as powerful gusts spread flames from the wildfire through the vegetation alongside the road.
Vehicles disappeared into the orange dust caused by the blaze, as Orange County Fire Authority (OFCA) crews continued firefighting operations.
A large number of firefighter trucks lined up alongside the road before heading into Jackson Ranch for structure protection as the fire kept growing rapidly.
OCFA crews were seen attacking the fire from ground and air on Thursday, as evacuations were ordered for residents in Silverado Canyon, Williams Canyon and Modjeska Canyon.
A reported 25,000 people have been evacuated because of the fire.
