Italy: Mary and Joseph don masks as Turin Cathedral nativity scene adapts to COVID
A nativity scene in Turin Cathedral appeared to have adapted to pandemic life, with Joseph, Mary, and the whole crew of shepherds and mages seen wearing masks.
Every adult character in the nativity scene was seen wearing a mask while waiting for the arrival of Baby Jesus, as seen on Friday. One shepherd child appeared to be mask-free.
The scene's animals were also exempt from having to cover their snouts.
Turin's Cathedral is known for being home of the Holy Shroud.
