Argentina: Police raid clinic of Maradona’s physician
Police raided the house and private clinic of Leopoldo Luque, football player Diego Maradona's physician, in Buenos Aires on Sunday, over alleged negligence in the treatment of the football legend, who died of a heart attack four days ago.
The raid took place after a witness reportedly spread information that Maradona recently had an intensive fight with his physician, which even included a shove. Maradona's allegedly daughters insist to know if their father's medical treatment was right, what medication was he prescribed, and if Luque is in any way to be responsible for Maradona's sudden death.
The legendary Argentine footballer died on Wednesday after suffering a heart attack while recovering from brain surgery. Argentina is coming out of three-day nationwide mourning, which has been declared shortly after his passing.
