
Brazil: At least 41 dead after bus and truck collide on Sao Paulo highway
At least 41 people lost their lives in a collision between a bus and a truck near the city of Taguai in Sao Paulo state, on Wednesday.
Debris could be seen at the site of the accident. The front end of the bus was entirely wrecked.
"Tragic moment, where we have to ask God to give comfort to the families. [It is] not easy for them, hard to see so many people dying, only God can comfort them," said a local at the crash scene.
Thirty-seven people reportedly died at the scene and four died from injuries after being taken to a hospital.
According to local reports, the bus was carrying workers from a textile company.
