Over a thousand protesters, including feminist activists, marched through Berlin on Wednesday to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, a worldwide remembrance day held each year on November 25.
Demonstrators started their rally outside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building and marched to the Volksbuhne theatre, where they deployed banners and held speeches.
Protesters were seen carrying signs reading 'We're angry and tough and we've had enough' and 'Not one more,' referring to femicide victims.
