Apart from being one of the greatest footballers of all time, Diego Maradona will also be remembered for his many facets, as the news of his death took the world by surprise on Wednesday.
The football legend died of a heart attack at his home in Tigres, a suburb of Buenos Aires, at the age of 60.

Born in Buenos Aires, Maradona led Argentina to a World Cup title in 1986 and a World Cup final in 1990.
At club level, he most notoriously played for Barcelona, Boca Juniors and Napoli, where he became a local hero. It was in Naples that his cocaine addiction took grip and almost ruined his footballing career.
