Police used water cannons to disperse counter protesters during an anti-lockdown rally in Frankfurt on Saturday.

The group of activists were counter-protesting a coronavirus sceptic rally organised by the 'Querdenken' ('Lateral Thinkers') group. The police later used the water cannon on them too.

Germany broke national records with confirmed cases of coronavirus in October and on November 2 entered a month-long lockdown. Most businesses have been ordered to close and people asked to stay at home whenever possible in order to spread the curb of the virus.
