A large crowd of supporters, some wearing iconic Rolling Stone memorabilia spilled out onto the streets to wait for the official opening of the shop which boasts a range of artefacts from rare album artwork to limited edition vinyls.
The store, which is the first of its kind in the UK, could be followed by more such outlets in Brazil, New York and other European cities, according to organisers.
