      Barcelona FC supporters gathered outside Camp Nou on Tuesday to ask for the resignation of the club’s president, Josep Bartomeu, in reaction to Lionel Messi’s probable departure.

      Fans were heard chanting “Bartomeu resign” and screaming insults, as police vehicles approached the perimetre.

      Lionel Messi has told Barcelona that he wants to leave the club this summer. Messi, 33, has a contract with the club until 2021.
