
Belarus: Hundreds take part in anti-Lukashenko rally in Grodno *DRONE FOOTAGE*
Hundreds of protesters gathered against the results of the presidential election at Lenin Square in Grodno on Sunday.
The crowds can be seen in drone footage taking part in the protest’s movement, demanding to re-run the presidential elections.
Earlier in the day, the Defence Ministry of Belarus announced that starting from August, 23, it will place all memorials and monuments in the country under its protection.
Belarus has been swept by anti-government protests following the August 9 disputed presidential election that saw Lukashenko re-elected for a sixth term.
Factories across the country are joining the national strike and demanding Lukashenko's resignation, while he accused the opposition of attempting to seize power.
