Lebanon: Beirut residents share thoughts about upcoming Hariri tribunal ruling
Beirut residents shared their thoughts with Ruptly on Monday about the upcoming verdict on the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri.
The ruling is expected to be delivered by the Special Tribunal for Lebanon in the Netherlands on Tuesday.
"The court's decision does not interest us may God forgive Rafik Hariri. We are interested in moving on, what happened, happened," said one resident.
"The Lebanese people learned from the past, they will not be affected by the decisions of the International Tribunal or by any decisions, and they will work in their interest," said another local.
Four men linked to Hezbollah are being tried by the tribunal in absentia for their role in the bombings that killed Rafik Hariri and 21 others in Beirut in 2005.
