Mexico: Residents head outdoors after earthquake shakes Oaxaca buildings

Residents of the city of Oaxaca were seen leaving their homes and walking round the streets after a 7.5-magnitude earthquake caused buildings to shake on Tuesday.

The National Seismological Service located the epicentre 23 kilometres (14 miles) south of Crucecita, Oaxaca, at 10:29 local time (17:36 GMT).

Oaxaca Governor Alejandro Murat reported one death and one injury from a landslide in Crucecita.

The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) issued a tsunami warning.
