Hundreds of people and mourners paid their respect, chanting "no justice, no peace" as the golden casket was leaving the building.
Earlier on Wednesday, upgraded charges were announced against the police officers involved in the case, with Derek Chauvin now facing second-degree murder charges with three other officers facing counts of aiding and abetting murder.
