
Iran: Deputy Health Minister sweats and coughs through press conference on day before coronavirus diagnosis
Iran's Deputy Health Minister Iraj Harirchi was sweating and coughing during a press conference in Tehran on Monday, the day before he was diagnosed with the novel coronavirus.
Footage shows Harirchi speaking next to Iranian Government Spokesman Ali Rabiei and stopping his speech in different moments to cough. Harirchi can be also seen sweating, mopping his brow, wiping his hair and drinking water.
On Tuesday, authorities announced that Harirchi tested positive for COVID-19. 15 people have so far been confirmed to have died from the disease in Iran, with dozens more infected.
