Belarus: Anti-Moscow integration demo hits Minsk
Hundreds of opposition protesters held an unsanctioned rally in Minsk on Friday, against the integration with the Russian Federation.
The protesters marched from October Square in the city centre, holding flags and banners.
Protesters went through Independence Square to the Government House, chanting anti-government slogans and calling for stopping integration with Moscow.
According to opposition representatives, the rallies were timed with the talks between the presidents of Russia and Belarus, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko, aimed to deepen the integration between both countries.
