      New President of Argentina, Alberto Fernandez and Vice President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner were greeted by ecstatic supporters in the capital's Plaza de Mayo square on Tuesday.

      Fernandez addressed the crowds, promising to "lift" Argentina up.

      The new president was sworn-in earlier the same day, with thousands flooding the streets to celebrate the event.
