      Italy: Atletico Madrid gears up for Juventus Champions League clash

      Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone that his team would focus on facing Juventus as a whole and not only on Cristiano Ronaldo, speaking in Turin on Monday, on the eve of the Spanish team's UEFA Champions League clash against the Italian squad.

      "I absolutely don't think it's a case of Ronaldo against Atletico Madrid," Simeone said after calling the Portuguese star a "champion." "We come to your beautiful house expecting to do a wonderful match tomorrow," Simeone added.

      "It is certain that [last year] we came with an advantage, they played much better than us, we did not rise to the challenge that day. We hope to do a great job tomorrow to win the match," said Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke referring to his team's loss against Juventus last season.

      "If you look at Juventus' team all the players they have are of a very high level, not only Cristiano," Koke added.

      Juventus is currently sitting on top of Group D, with Simeone's team three points behind.
