      German Chancellor Angela Merkel welcomed Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to the G20 'Compact with Africa' summit in Berlin on Wednesday. Footage shows Sisi arriving and being greeted by Merkel.

      Twelve countries are participating in the event, including Egypt, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Rwanda and Tunisia. The initiative was launched by Germany in 2017 to tackle the root cause of migration by creating more jobs and better infrastructure on the African continent.
