
Serbia: Partizan coach 'proud' of home team despite 1-0 loss to Manchester United
FK Partizan head coach Savo Milosevic said he was 'proud' of his team's performance and the atmosphere of the crowd after suffering a 1-0 loss to Manchester United in Belgrade on Thursday.
"I am glad the atmosphere was great and we showed Europe that we could be civilised, organised and to play in beautiful environment and thus prove that we are what we claim we are - a great club. I am proud tonight not only of my boys but of all the crowd that showed up," he said.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskajer was also satisfied with the game, saying his was "proud and kept another clean sheet."
The last time Partizan and Manchester United played against each other was in Belgrade in 1966, when Partizan won 2:0.
