      India: Relief distributed to victims as Bihar reels from flooding

      Food and relief materials were being distributed to flood victims in Bihar's capital of Patna on Wednesday, after the Indian state was battered by Monsoon rains. The death toll has reportedly risen to 42 people in Bihar.

      Local residents can be seen trudging their way through flooded streets, with some areas still submerged. Footage also shows crowds of people queuing up to get essential supplies, as many remain stranded.

      According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), more rains are expected in Bihar.
